Breathtaking night view of the iconic Lodha World One Towers, The World Towers , World One and World Crest
World One, standing at 280.2 meters (919 feet) with 76 floors, is an iconic skyscraper located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. As of 2023, it holds the distinction of being the second tallest completed building in India. Situated on the 7.1-hectare (17.5-acre) site of the former Shrinivas Mill, the complex also features two other towers: World View and World Crest, all developed by the Lodha Group.
Initially intended to reach a height of 442 meters (1,450 feet), the project faced delays due to approval issues with the Airports Authority of India. Consequently, it was redesigned and completed at its current height. Designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and engineered by Leslie E. Robertson Associates, the construction involved multiple contractors including Arabian Construction Co., Simplex, and Muscovite Group. With an estimated cost exceeding US $321 million, World One stands as a testament to architectural excellence and engineering prowess.
