I'm learning to draw portraits , these are some sketches that I made for practice. Some Image reference were taken from Google and then I tried to sketch them.
My first attempt to draw my little niece PARI. I made this on sisters repeated requests. This time didn't come well , I will try to make it again. The good thing is that I showed this to my niece and ask her " "Pari, tell me who is she?" and she replied " ITS ME!" I thought she wouldn't recognize.
Probably this is first mans sketch I made.
I sketched this because I liked the image but remember that smoking doesn't make you look cool, but rather makes you look stupid. There are 1.3 billion smokers in the world today. I am not smoker, I have never smoked.

I enjoy drawing hair but sometimes its very tricky to draw. Above four sketches are my old drawings from about 8-9 yrs ago. I used to draw only cartoon images before. Then slowly I started making sketches and now I am am learning to make portrait. Now its seems that my sketching skill gradually increasing.

Importance of sketching
Its okay to not have a hobby but there are a number of reasons why you should have hobby. Hobbies are important. Sketching and drawing is one of my favorite hobbies.
Sketching and Drawing are a great way to enjoy yourself, spending time on an activity that you enjoy can improve your mental health. Sketching and Drawing helps in enhancing creativity skills. Sketching helps in building your self esteem and confidence through your art. Memory get strong and concentration also get better.
IMPROVED PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS : It also develops hand-eye coordination. Enable you to become more observant of the details of his surroundings. And makes you realize that there can be more solution to a single problem.
RELIEF STRESS : Art is like therapy, with sketching and drawing you can boost your health and creativity, people with hobbies suffer less from stress and depression.
